The IDA Education Awards are NOT OPEN for Individual Educators/Corporate Entities.

IDA Education Awards 2024 - Criteria

Eligibility Criteria

    1. The Eligibility Criteria is listed under three broad groups. Kindly select the category for which your institution is eligible. The groups determine the criteria that jury shall use to assess the works / level of the institution for a fair comparison:
      • Group A: comprising of those educational institutions which have been in operation for 5 years or less (as on March 31, 2024) and have plans to grow further.
      • Group B: comprising of educational institutions which have been in operation for more than 5 years. These could be individual or as a group under the name of the parent institution. It must have one graduated class in India as on March 31, 2024.
      • Group C: comprising of institutions (public or private) which have completed more than 10 years of their operations in India and/or abroad (as on March 31, 2024). It also includes those institutions which operate as a large group under the name of the parent institution.
    2. If you are applying for multiple categories and/or sub categories in the same category, then please fill separate forms and provide relevant documents separately. If multiple entry forms are received for same initiative, then only the last form submitted will be considered and others will be disqualified.
    3. Participating Institutions must be engaged primarily in providing education and/or training.
    4. Employees and immediate family members of the award management, sponsors and partners of the awards are not allowed to participate in the Awards.
    5. An Institution can participate independently or on behalf of its parent Institution, sister units or other Institutions under the umbrella brand.
    6. The final eligibility of the Institution will be subject to the discretion and approval of the IDA-EA 2024 audit team.
    7. Participation in IDA-EA 2024 is subject to defined terms and conditions available on the website awards.indiadidac.org/education
    8. Only if all the information provided is correct and complete, the nomination will be accepted.

Judging Criteria

The Judging process for the IDA Education Awards 2024 involves 3 stages of Evaluation:

    • Round 1: Online Application & Shortlisting:
      • In this initial stage, participants are required to submit their applications online
      • All the nominations are collated and reviewed to determine if they meet the eligibility criteria, based on the application and documentation provided
    • Round 2: Online Jury Round:
      • IDA Education Awards has a renowned and strong panel of 150+ online Jury Members
      • Each nomination is evaluated by 5-7 online Jury Members, based on the judging parameters
      • Based on the evaluations of all jury members, the Finalists are determined by calculating a weighted average score in each category
    • Round 3: Grand Jury Selection:
      • The Grand Jury comprises of distinguished personalities from the Global Education and Industry sectors
      • The Grand Jury members evaluate all the finalists based on the judging parameters
      • Based on the evaluations of the Grand Jury, the Winners are determined by calculating a weighted average score in each category

The IDA Education Awards use 6 judging parameters to evaluate the entries:

    • Documentation & Supporting Evidence: completeness of form and presentation of documentation and evidence
    • Intent: Alignment of intent based on the award category
    • Innovation: Uniqueness/creativity/adaptability in approaches or solutions
    • Implementation: Effective & successful execution and process
    • Impact: Measuring Outcomes
    • Sustainability: Potential for long-term sustenance/ scalability / replicability / reusability/ continuity
